Sam Christian is an interdisciplinary artist, living in Brooklyn, working across performance, installation, and image. Across these mediums, their work examines affective and political networks within specific material processes and sites. Often measuring sites of expenditure and economy, tensions between the legible and illegible, and probing the conditions of absence—their work is attentive to subtle economies of objects as they relate to particular socio-cultural practices and spaces.
